Dear colleagues, Christmas is coming up and most people will happily celebrate the holiday with friends and family. Not everyone can say the same, all over the world there are people who are not able to enjoy the holidays because of personal difficulties.
Therefore, the internal communications team together with Tanja Fugl and Matthias Wacker took the initiative to start a charity event with all colleagues from TKH Airport Solutions. For every location (Lippstadt, Nykøbing and Haaksbergen) different organizations were chosen to donate to.
In Haaksbergen the chosen organization is: Voedselbank Haaksbergen-Enschede (Voedselbank Enschede Haaksbergen | Oog voor voedsel). This is an organization making free food packages for families who are in a financial difficult situation. They prefer to receive money, but preservable food can be donated as well.
In Lippstadt the chosen organizations are: KIA (KIA (Keiner ist Allein)) and Weinachten im Schuhkarton (Weinachten im Schuhkarton (xmas in shoe box)). KIA is an organization which helps singles and people who are lonely and homeless. They would like to receive preservable food. Weinachten im Schuhkarton is an organization which wants to show recognition and joy to children in need. They do this by bringing a shoebox with toys to children all over the world who are in need. This organization would like to be donated children’s toys to put into a shoebox.
In Nykøbing the donation will be Christmas baskets for families who are in a financial difficult situation. This donation will be done via the local church. The organization would like to receive food or money for Christmas baskets.
We hope that you carry the same enthusiasm as us to donate to these organization! Donating can start from tomorrow onwards. The donated money or items can be brought to:
Haaksbergen: money and/or preservable food in a donation box in the “kantoortuin”. The deadline for handing in items is 14-12-2022.
Lippstadt: food and/or toys for children too Mathias Wacker. The deadline for handing in items is 02-12-2022.
Nykøbing: food and/or money too Tanja Fugl. The deadline for handing in items is 14-12-2022.
