How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?
I will be doing an internship for half a year from February.
What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
I am an HR intern for six months, under the supervision of Kimberlie. I will therefore be taking on several HR tasks.
What does your typical workday look like?
I can’t say exactly what my internship day will look like yet. But I can tell you that my day will start around 8:40 am and will end around 5.30 pm. During my internship I will support my supervisor Kimberlie with her HR tasks and I also will take on projects.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
I am a very social girl, who likes to help people and is enterprising. I would show good commitment and I give 100% in everything I do.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?
My name is Fleur and I am 18 years old. I live in Haaksbergen with my father and brother. I sadly no longer have a mother.
In addition to my school and internship, I work at the quality butchery Broekhuis in Haaksbergen. Here I work on weekends and often 1 or 2 days during the week. My position is sales assistant. My duties vary a lot. I help the customers in the store, I deliver buffets, BBQ packages and snacks. I also make these snacks myself. In addition to the snacks, I also make other dishes for the counter. I enjoy doing this job. Besides my work I like to meet up with friends, I like to work out in the gym and I like to run. But you can also make me very happy with a movie night or shopping. At last but not least, I love traveling! And one day I hope I can make an world tour.
What is on top of your bucket list?
At the top of my bucket list is making a world / or Europe tour with my father on the motorcycle. I have to get my motorcycle license first. My dream is also to get my own motorcycle. I have quite a motorcycle family. My father, uncle, niece and nephew all ride motorcycles.
What is your favorite travel destination?
Italy. That’s because I travelled there very often on vacation (especially with my mom, and that’s why some places in Italy have a very big piece of my hard)
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
Indonesian food from my father. Or Italian food, such as pasta, pizza and lasagna. I love that.
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Most Sundays I’m at work, where i help customers in the store and deliver buffets.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
Wow, that’s a hard question. I think enjoy every moment because it could be over before you know it. Its a little basic/well known advise, but after my mom passed away I became more aware of how short life can be.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
As a child I have always done gymnastics at a fairly high level. But due to injuries and school I unfortunately chose to stop 2 years ago. And actually I still miss gymnastics every day.
