How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?

I will be starting my internship at TKH Airport Solutions on the second week of February.

What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?

As a finance intern, I will be supporting the finance controller in the daily operations of the company.

What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?

As a student of international business and finance with an associate’s degree in hospitality management and experience as an administrative assistant, I bring a unique skill set to the role of finance intern.

My educational background has given me a strong understanding of finance and business principles, while my experience has helped me develop my analytical and organizational skills. I am confident that I can use this to support the finance team. I am eager to contribute my skills and gain hands-on experience in finance at TKH Airport Solutions.

Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?

I’m Mark, and I’m born and raised in Aruba. Currently, I’m almost done with my bachelor of Science at Saxion University. I enjoy spending my free time playing card games and online games with my friends, as well as watching shows together.

What is on top of your bucket list?

Visiting South Korea and Japan with my friend group. We have been talking about going to these places for years. I’m pretty good at saving my money, but my friends are always broke!

What is your favorite travel destination?

My favorite travel destination that I’ve been to so far has to be Madeira, a small Portuguese island. Madeira is technically where my family is from, although I was born and raised in Aruba. The food in Madeira is great, and the landscape is beautiful.

What can somebody wake you up for at night?

Though question. My sleeping time is sacred… Maybe if it’s for a cute dog or a cat, I wouldn’t mind that if get to pet them.

What does a typical Sunday look like for you?

I love to sleep in a little and then have brunch with my family, walk the dog and watch some TV or grab a drink in town.

What is the best advice that you ever received?

A bit of a lame answer but Sunday is errand day for me. Mostly boring things like doing my laundry and cleaning the place up. I like to stay at home after all that.
