What will be your role in the organization and your main responsibilities?
I will start as International Project Manager hopefully responsible for a lot of exciting projects with CEDD technology.
What excites you the most about joining TKH Airport Solutions?
At first when I saw the job description it was the product in combination with the possible projects and the project locations. When I had my first interview I saw how enthusiastic the people are about the product and the company. Working together with such passionate colleagues excited me as well.
Are there any specific projects or tasks you’re particularly passionate about?
Ask me this question again after the first 100 days working for TKH Airport Solutions.
How can your previous work experiences help you succeed in this company?
In my past working experience I had the opportunity to have different roles in different companies, from engineer to Project Management and from technical to commercial roles. These experiences and my international experiences in projects will help me succeed in this company.
Can you share one/two interesting fact(s) about yourself?
I always had a strong connection with aviation from my early years, initially sparked by airplane spotting at Twente Airbase during my youth. At the age of 16, I embarked on my aviation journey by starting at the Nederlands Luchtvaart College in Hoofddorp and I successfully completed my Bachelor’s degree in Aviation in Amsterdam.
What are some of your favorite weekend activities or hobbies?
My hobby is playing basketbal, which is not in the weekends 🙂
In the weekend I spent time with my family and busy with renovating our house. Hopefully in the near future I will pick up my guitar again and I want to start painting.
Is there a favorite quote or mantra that inspires you in your career or life?
Well, I am not really of the quotes or mantra’s. Normally i only use ‘doe maar normaal dan doe je al gek genoeg’. Oscar Wilde uses something similar which suites best: ‘Be yourself, everyone else is already taken’.
What’s one piece of advice or insight you’d like to share with your new colleagues?
I believe that fostering genuine connections helps us really work together and brings out the best in each team member.
What’s one career achievement that you are most proud of?
I am proud of my career in total and the opportunities that were given.
