What will be your role in the organization and your main responsibilities?
My role will be that of an HR intern. My main responsibilities will be to support the HR department and the rest of the organization to the best of my abilities, while also learning and improving in the process.
What excites you the most about joining TKH Airport Solutions?
The opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals in a technologically-minded endeavour, to learn and grow both my skillset and responsibilities.
Are there any specific projects or tasks you’re particularly passionate about?
I hope to be able to contribute to any training and development practices, to learn about difficulties faced by other departments and support them by collaborating on possible solutions together, then implementing this knowledge into recruitment.
How can your previous work experiences help you succeed in this company?
I have learned the value of communication of both needs, expectations and problems through previous work experiences and how utilizing communication channels can be beneficial to all parties included. I hope my experience can be of use in my success in TKH.
Can you share one/two interesting fact(s) about yourself?
An interesting fact about me would be my origins as I was born in the UAE to a Bulgarian mother and Syrian father, and I have lived most of my life in Bulgaria up until 19 years of age when I moved to the Netherlands. I have also lived in Sweden for about 6 months when I was 12 years old.
What are some of your favorite weekend activities or hobbies?
I typically enjoy either visiting the gym and working out, reading or spending quality time with my friends during the weekends.
Is there a favorite quote or mantra that inspires you in your career or life?
My favorite quote would be “This too shall pass” I find it especially valuable in times of high stress and frustration as it reminds me that problems and stress derived from them are temporary.
What’s one piece of advice or insight you’d like to share with your new colleagues?
I would like my colleagues to feel welcome to share their advice with me as they are likely more experienced and have more to teach me.
What’s one career achievement that you are most proud of?
The career achievement i’m most proud of would be my willingness and effort to always help those aroud me, while a bit atypical I think it has helped me form a strong connection with my colleagues and has made me reliable.
