What excites you the most about joining TKH Airport Solutions?
I love the dynamic environment in which I am working. Furthermore, I am excited to work on making the current processes as smooth and efficient possible.
Are there any specific projects or tasks you’re particularly passionate about?
I really like innovation and solving the problems that come along with these innovations. I believe there are many projects where innovation is key in this organisation, so there is not a specific project which I am passionate about, but multiple.
I previously studied Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Process Optimization next to this I followed the curriculum of Business Administration with a specialization in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I believe these masters will really help me in succeeding in this company.
Can you share one/two interesting fact(s) about yourself?
(1) I am playing korfbal and also coach a team at my association. Furthermore, I am currently the Chair of this association.
(2) I really like singing, dancing and acting. At the end of January and the beginning of February, I will be performing 6 times in “Schouwburg Hengelo” with the “Hengelose Revue”. Furthermore, I am currently rehearsing every Tuesday evening for the musical Titanic in Enschede. We will perform this musical 2 times in November in the Wilmink Theatre in Enschede.
What are some of your favorite weekend activities or hobbies?
Playing korfbal and visiting the theatre.
Is there a favorite quote or mantra that inspires you in your career or life?
I always so to myself “Alles komt goed, dat heeft het tot nu toe ook gedaan”. Everything will be alright, it has been alright till now.
What’s one piece of advice or insight you’d like to share with your new colleagues?
Don’t take everything too serious 😉
What’s one career achievement that you are most proud of?
An scientific article has been written about my Bachelor Assignment, which I did for the ZGT hospitals Almelo/Hengelo. This article is published in the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy in 2024 and is called “Optimisation of medication reconciliation using queueing theory: a computer experiment”
