TKH Airport Solutions and All About Signs International Launch Guidance Signs with CEDD AGL Technology

TKH Airport Solutions (TKH) and All About Signs International (AASi) proudly introduce airfield guidance signs powered by CEDD technology. This milestone complements TKH’s existing CEDD AGL portfolio, enabling airports to individually control not only airfield lights but now also guidance signs through the same innovative system.

The new offering is based on AASi’s FLAT-Light TGS Series 4, a line of sustainable, high-quality signs that are placed along the runways and taxiways to guide pilots while manoeuvring aircraft on the airfield. These signs are already available in 6.6A, 230V, and 24Vdc versions. Built with durability and precision, these signs meet the rigorous demands of modern airports, making them the ideal choice for integration with TKH’s CEDD AGL technology. The partnership reflects TKH’s commitment to delivering reliable, state-of-the-art solutions to the aviation industry.

The CEDD (Contactless Energy and Data Distribution) system redefines airfield ground lighting by transmitting power and data through a single cable – eliminating the need for transformers, connectors, and additional modules. This simplifies installation and maintenance processes while reducing operational costs. Furthermore, CEDD airfield lights and, now, guidance signs can be individually controlled, offering airports unparalleled flexibility and efficiency, even if both the lights and signs are in the same circuit.

Expanding the CEDD AGL portfolio with Airfield Guidance Signs marks a significant milestone in our mission to redefine airfield lighting technology,” said Erik Velderman, CEO of TKH Airport Solutions. “All About Signs International’s exceptional quality and expertise made them the perfect partner for this project.

Frank de Koning, CEO of All About Signs, added, “Our FLAT-Light TGS Series 4 signs have set the standard for reliability, durability, and performance. Combining them with CEDD AGL technology opens up new possibilities for enhancing airfield safety and efficiency. We are proud to collaborate with TKH Airport Solutions to bring this innovative solution to life.

The signs are available with immediate effect. The first installation was successfully completed at the end of 2024. Existing operational signs in 6.6A, 230V or 24Vdc versions can be easily converted to CEDD, ensuring seamless integration.
