What excites you the most about joining TKH Airport Solutions?
Having grown up near Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, I have developed a strong passion for travel. However, I have limited knowledge of airfield ground lighting and other airport operations. When I came across TKH Airport Solutions, I was immediately intrigued by their innovative approach, the company’s International presence presents a unique opportunity for me to learn about how airports operate on a global scale, and I am eager to expand my understanding of the industry.
Are there any specific projects or tasks you’re particularly passionate about?
I am eager to develop my career in finance and am open to learning any skills or knowledge that the company offers. I am committed to growing professionally and contributing to the organization.
How can your previous work experiences help you succeed in this company?
In my previous work experience, I completed an internship and worked for a period before deciding to continue my studies. Afterward, I worked in sales, which I truly enjoyed, because it allowed me to engage with people from diverse backgrounds. However, throughout this time, I never stopped pursuing my passion for finance and remained determined to build a career.
Can you share one/two interesting fact(s) about yourself?
I was born and raised in Ethiopia, and I have always enjoyed experiencing wildlife, even though I sometimes find myself very afraid of being eaten by wild animals! I also love interacting with people from different tribes, even when I don’t understand their language or lifestyle.
What are some of your favorite weekend activities or hobbies?
I enjoy listening to music, and sometimes spending time with friends.
Is there a favorite quote or mantra that inspires you in your career or life?
Reading Books. I am thinking of doing meditation too
What’s one piece of advice or insight you’d like to share with your new colleagues?
Do what you love and what you’re capable of. Focus on one thing at a time.
What’s one career achievement that you are most proud of?
It would be better for me to answer this question after I complete my studies, as I will have a clearer perspective and a more informed response.
