Safe learning – What to watch out for when starting new tasks

Many schools or teachers tell you learning comes from motivation and discipline, but the truth is that it is influenced by many other factors too!

When trying to learn something new, the environment you are in plays a huge role in your ability to study! For example, if a room is noisy, with flickering lights, it is unlikely you’ll be able to concentrate well. Or, if a room is very cold or very hot, or your chair is uncomfortable. These are all distractions that are hard to shut out.

So, when you want to learn something, make sure you are in the proper environment for it! Take some time to find what works for you, for example by checking out the course Learning How to Learn, specifically module 3 (Suppport your brain) on GoodHabitz!

Something to think about the next time you sit down to study, work, or learn new stuff!
