During April we want to make people more aware of their personal health, especially during work time. If you’re spending a lot of your time in front of a screen, here’s a simple, quick action that can greatly reduce eye-strain and headaches during your work: the 20-20-20 rule.
This is how it works:
- Every 20 minutes
- Take a 20 second break
- To look at something 20 feet away (7 meters)
The reason this works is because when you look further away, your eye muscles relax. Just like any other muscle, constant straining can cause soreness or fatigue.
