How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?

What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
I’m a service engineer at TKH AS.
What does your typical workday look like?
My job is to handle customer support to TKH AS customers all over the world. I do this together with Patrick Engel, who works from Denmark. We handle questions from customers, and if needed we go to the customer to help them with their issue on-site.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
I like to help out if I can, so questions are always welcome. My English en German language skills are pretty good, so I can easily communicate with my colleagues.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life? Family, hobbies, etc.
I’m 46 years old and father of two girls (12 and 14 years old). I have quite a lot of hobbies, but (action) photography is the primary one. I also like to read, watch formula 1, listen to music, bike riding, hiking, BBQ or have nice diner/drink with friends.
What is on top of your bucket list?
I especially like to photograph (military) aircraft. Every year there is a military exercise in the Swiss alps (called Axalp) where the jets fly very low through the canyons. You would have to climb up the mountain first for a few housr before being able to photograph it. I would like to do that some day.
What is your favorite travel destination?
Italy (Tuscany), Germany (Bayern), US (west coast)
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
A nicely grilled steak…..But that never actually happened yet!!
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Usually I would sleep in a few hours, do a relaxed breakfast and after that go for a nice hike or bike ride. Do some grocery shopping and take time to cook a nice diner. Watch a nice movie afterwards.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
I have no idea, can’t remember
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
Perhaps the aircraft photography hobby?
