How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?
More than 7 years.
What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
From the early beginning of CEDD® responsible for the hardware designs, in particular for the HPS Basestation electronics.
What does your typical workday look like?
That differs from time to time, depending on the active project. Currently I’m designing a production tester for High-Voltage PCBAs of the HPS Basestation. I work on that most of the time. I’m also involved in ISO 9001 internal audits, NEN 3140 electrical safety and other hardware R&D things.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
I have a lot of knowledge of the CEDD® system, from HPS Basestation to HPS Terminator. Knowledge of topics like communication techniques, digital signal processing in FPGAs, power electronics, etc.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life? Family, hobbies, etc.
I’m married to Ritagna and we have got a one year old daughter Fayen.
What is on top of your bucket list?
See more of the world.
What is your favorite travel destination?
From all the places I have been, New-Zealand.
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
If there is an emergency or if we can go on holiday.
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Get up early (around 8 o’clock), play with my daughter and drink some coffee. The rest of the day spend some time with family and friends. However, that didn’t work out a lot this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
Be happy with the good things.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
I will become a dad for the second time next year 😉
