How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?
As I am filling out the Who is Who Questionnaire, I haven’t had my first workday at TKH Airport Solutions yet.
What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
My main function consists of contributing to the overall workload of HR-related tasks. Additionally, I will develop policy, conduct analyses, and assist with the new Training and Development program.
What does your typical workday look like?
At this moment I haven’t worked a day at TKH Airport solutions however, the majority of my workday will consist of assisting the HR manager with any HR-related tasks.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
During my education, I’ve learned to think of out-of-the-box solutions regarding people and work-related challenges.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?
I was born in Bucks County Pennsylvania and when I was seven we moved to the Netherlands. Our plan was not to stick around for more than 3 years however, that plan changed as we haven’t moved back after 18 years. Currently, I am in my fourth year of the International Human Resource Management Bachelor at Saxion. My goal is to finish this education within 1 year. Besides school, I like to spend time in the kitchen cooking for friends and family. If I would have to pick my favorite dish to make it would have to be any kind of pasta. Another hobby of mine is baseball/softball, something that I have been playing since I was 4 years old.
What is your favorite travel destination?
My favorite travel destination has to be Italy. Of all the countries I have visited, Italy is the one I can keep on going back to every year. My favorite aspect of this country is definitely the great food and coffee.
What is on top of your bucket list?
One day I would like to take a road trip through America and visit plenty of Major League Baseball games along the way.
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
If that person brought homemade carrot cake, they are allowed to wake me up at any time.
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Most Sundays I like to start off with sleeping in. After that, I enjoy whipping up a nice brunch paired with a nice cup of coffee. Once the morning ritual is done, I usually spend the rest of the day watching something sports-related with friends or having a cup of coffee with my family.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
No matter what happens, try to view everything as a learning experience.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
According to Spotify my favorite music genre last year was DiscoHouse.
