How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?
Since mid July
What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
As Quality Engineer I support the Operations by handling non-conformities arising from suppliers or from our own production. Furthermore and most important is then to benefit from the lessons learned to avoid the same or similar problems in the future .
What does your typical workday look like?
There does not seem to be a typical workday when working with quality, as most tasks arrive unexpected. A perfect day in quality control is in theory when there is nothing urgent to attend to.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
Strong analytical skills and a long experience with different ways to achieve fail-safe operations inspired by Japanese poka-yoke techniques.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?
I am living locally close to the TKH AS site in Denmark, being married to my wife, Charlotte and raising our 2 boys, Frederik (9) and Valdemar (13).
What is on top of your bucket list?
Travel the world by Train. This year the Journey was a roundtrip from Denmark to Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and Hamburg. Next year we plan for a trip through Vienna to Bosporus and Istanbul.
What is your favorite travel destination?
Any place I did not visit yet
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
I would not have a clue..
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Family time, doing some work around the house and maybe enjoy a cold beer.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
Listen to people! There is no limits to what you can learn from people being enthusiastic about what they do.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
I have a passionate hobby as an amateur watchmaker, enjoying to restore antique wall clocks and Cuckoo’s
