What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
In charge of sales and business development in the Middle East Region. To introduce the company and its AGL solutions, especially the CEDD technology, to those potential clients, designers and consultants that are still not aware of it or of its full benefits – the future of AGL as we know it today. To place TKH AS at par with the other key AGL suppliers and CEDD as the unique, state-of-the-art and future proof technology.
What does your typical workday look like?
Being pro-active is of essence. Calling on potential end users and clients, online meetings until the situation will allow for doing so face-to-face, presentations of solutions, case studies & business cases will be the order of the day. This obviously requires rigorous preparation beforehand and afterwards, including the eventual preparation of offers.
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
I complete the team by offering a permanent physical presence and coverage of the Middle East market. My past work experiences allowed me to become very familiar with overall airport operations in general – airside, gate and gate turn-around operations, AOC, AOCC, ATC (did basic training at Entry Point North – Sweden) as well as basic knowledge of terminal systems.
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?
Born in Lebanon but lived most of my life abroad – Egypt, Greece (due to my father’s work relocations with PepsiCo Int’l), USA, Kuwait, Qatar and now UAE. I am married and have a 15 year old daughter. I am an avid traveler, enjoy meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, going to museums, concerts, trying new food, long walks, reading and a drink after a long day’s toil.
I am easy going and enjoy many genres of music. However, my preference is for hard rock and jazz. I used to play bass guitar and drums and my favorite car brand is Alfa Romeo.
What is on top of your bucket list?
Learning to fly
What is your favorite travel destination?
Each destination has its own appeal & mystique. However, I relish very cold destinations for Christmas travels and coastal towns and cities in the summer.
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
Practically anything.
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
A typical day with my family, regardless of what we choose to do.
What is the best advice that you ever received?
Everything happens for a reason.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
Very passionate about aviation and a collector of airplane models.
