How long have you been working for TKH Airport Solutions?

What can you tell us about your role in TKH Airport Solutions?
I was hired as “Sustaining engineer” and will work for production.
What does your typical workday look like?
I will find out in the next months ….
What specialism can you offer to your colleagues?
IC release activities, (technical) supply chain management, in general a wide view on electronic, technical documentation, process definition. So far focused on automotive. Member of several AEC (automotive engineering council) workgroups with focus on reliability and zero defect methods. Failure analysis on IC level was my starting job in engineering.
Always open and eager to learn, but also happy to support my colleagues if i can (sometimes as simple as a 4-eye review on an topic i am not superfamiliar with).
Can you tell us a bit about your personal life?
I am 46 years old (born 1975) and am father of two lovely children: Hauke (9 years) and Eva (7 years). Living in Bad Bentheim (Germany, 10km off the dutch border). Currently in a separation situation with my wife, but in a relatively peaceful condition currently.
What is your favorite travel destination?
Places i have not seen before 🙂
In general i like the sea, but also the mountains.
Very outdoor active, my recent activities were an 80km hike from Bad Bentheim to Coevorden and an 800km cycle tour from Bad Bentheim to the island Ruegen close to the polish border. But i’ve visited for example Ameland very often with my parents and love it because of the island feeling. After work i like to either jump on the bike for a quick 30km tour or get the kids and jump in one of the swimming lakes closeby.
What can somebody wake you up for at night?
A game of backgammon
What does a typical Sunday look like for you?
Get the hiking shoes out (or the bike) and be outside.
What else do your colleagues not know about you yet?
I am active member of a repaircafe (in Gildehaus close to Bentheim). I like good food, cooking, baking.
